Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for a return or exchange:

  • Item must be unused and in original packaging
  • Return request must be made within 15 days of delivery
  • Original proof of purchase (order number) is required
Non-Returnable Items: For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
  • Special order/custom cut fasteners
  • Opened packages of screws where the quantity cannot be verified
  • Items purchased as part of a clearance sale

Return & Exchange Process

Follow these precision steps (just like selecting the right screw for your project):

  1. Initiate Request: Email us at [email protected] with your return/exchange request within 15 days of receiving your order. Use the template below.
  2. Receive Authorization: We’ll respond within 2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions.
  3. Package Securely: Repack items in original packaging with all included documentation. Include the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package.
  4. Ship Back: Send the package to our Chicago facility (address below). We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). For exchanges, we’ll cover the cost of shipping the replacement item to you.

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receipt
  • Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Note: Depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.

Exchange Processing

For exchanges:

  • We’ll ship your replacement item within 2 business days of receiving your return
  • You’ll receive tracking information via email
  • Standard shipping times apply (10-15 days for DHL/FedEx, 15-25 days for EMS)
